It's a genuinely earth-friendly crop, too. Hemp grows without pesticides, naturally crowds out weeds so there's no need for herbicides, helps control topsoil erosion, and produces oxygen as it grows. It's also fast-growing with a high fibre yield per acre — a smart, sustainable choice from the ground up.

Your cloth isn't pre-washed, so give it a wash and dry before first use. Machine wash cold or warm with like colours using the detergent of your choice, then tumble dry low or hang to dry. The fabric becomes softer and reaches maximum absorbency after a few wash cycles. Expect some shrinkage, and a little lint shedding in the early washes — this is completely normal. Skip the fabric softener and dryer sheets, as these reduce the cloth's absorbency.

Returns
We believe in doing what is right for every situation. Though we prefer not to accept returns due to another truck hitting the highway, we will weigh the best option based on the particular situation. If an item shows up broken, please take a picture and send it to hello@rootsrefillery.com. We will then refund your method of payment for the broken product. We do our best to carefully pack each order but bumps and tumbles are part of life.
